At Valour we believe that every company should actively participate in local social philanthropy and charity work so we lead by example. Here is just a small overview of the many projects we are pioneering or supporting.

Valour Knights Team

Valour knights are responsible for leading all charity efforts in the group. They have participated in events to raise money for worthy causes. Their exploits include abseiling, zip line, its a knock out and marathons.

16 Hours of paid leave for charity work

We Encourage our 100-strong workforce - from boardroom to postroom- to take up to 16 hours paid leave for voluntary, charity and fund-raising work in the local community.

Three Peaks 24 Hour Challenge

Every year a team from Valour climb the three largest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours.

Dress Down Charity Friday

Every Friday all work colleagues have a ‘dress down for charity’ day and in return for wearing their own casual clothes each work colleague donates one pound towards our nominated charity. Every month before the money is pledged to our nominated charity as the employer we double the charity donation.

Charity Clay Pigeon Shoot & After Shoot Dinner

To raise more money for Hope House, Valour Group MD Mark Bowker arranged an exclusive charity clay pigeon shoot day and an after shoot dinner.

Valour Supports Local Community Sports

Valour firmly believe in local community sport and we have welcomed the opportunity to support a local school rugby team as kit sponsor.
